About
The publisher behind the magazine.
This magazine is the culmination of the publisher’s 30-plus years of professional pet grooming, blending her three passions: professional pet grooming, education, and journalism.
Heather has a double-major bachelor’s degree in public relations and journalism with a minor in global sustainability, and has recently finished her master’s degree through The George Washington University College of Professional Studies in publishing.
During her time in Kansas City, Missouri, she became a Missouri Master Naturalist, performing different tasks such as physical prairie seed collection with the Nature Conservancy and sturgeon monitoring with the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, as well as helping to educate our next generation of eco-warriors.
Needless to say, she has a passion for all those who cannot speak for themselves. She has years of professional pet grooming under her belt, from owning her own brick-and-mortar, to building a mobile trailer, to working out of mobile vans, as well as working as a groomer at veterinary clinics.
